    Default Cingular

I remember some people on here use to work at cingular, and i was curious: My account has been active for 9 and a half years, why in order to upgrade my phone do i have to pay 18 dollars and then full price for a phone. When i worked at powertel (t-mobile) they use to send out cards telling you which phones you could get a deal on. Is this process out dated now?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

You don't pay full price for the phone.. and I guess theres a 18 fee for the change.

If you read the fine print you wouldnt be asking this question.

nothing to read, this is what i was told face to face when i went into the store. She said i would have to sign a 2 year agreement and pay the 2 year agreement price for the phone. And yes i did give her my info so she saw how long my account has been active and up to date

who cares how long you have had an account with them in that case Ive been with them since 94.. thats not the point.

She is correct, Thats why I told you .. you shouldve read the FINE print instead of asking around in this case TWICE.
