Female car clubs/female classes?

I am not sure if anyone has asked this yet or not... but why do certain shows/companies/people- have classes just for females. I mean if a girl, wants to get into a mans sport- WHY should they have a class just for females? I dont really think that makes too much sense... they are in a mans world, why not just compete with the guys?

Personally, I have always gone to nopi and stuff and just registered along with the guys. The first year I competed, I placed first in my class and everyone gasped when they heard a females name in the male category...

What is everyone's opinion on this? Girls, do you compete in the female class or male class? Do you register your boyfriends car in the female class and get a trophie just for fucks sake or what?

Id like to hear some opinions!

wasn't even aware they had "sex classes" when it comes to showing cars... oh well, dont care. only thing i think girls should stay seperated in is football and boxing... i dont care how big a girl is, if she gets on the football field, it won't be pretty. and boxing... same basic thing. But showing cars? who gives a fuck, imagination/money is the same no matter what sex you are.

Just like in the caveman era. The woman stayed in the cave, the man went out to hunt. Women stayed as house wives until the 50-60's where they got their women's rights, which is a good thing. I think women have the same opportunities, but should not take them all. There is no sense in a woman playing foozball, or weight lifting, etc.. Not putting you girls down in any way, but I just think of females as a gentle flower. Unless their butt ugly then they are a gentle weed of somesort or shrub, anyways what I am saying is both genders are "In average" better at somethings then the other. As you stated, car shows. Women are natural born designers. They grow up asking one another what they think of a certain toenail polish or match clothes with toenail polish. While us guys were out shooting pelletguns and lighting firecrackers they were more obsessive on what looked good or what match with what. So it is no surprise to me that a girl could make a better looking “show” car then a guy. They know how to work with colors rather the Jimbo asking Bob what color he should paint his car, (recent thread actually). Theres a reason there are ricers, and theres a reason you will see alot of guys matching yellow with red on their car as if sponcered by Ronald McDonald himself.

i have competed with guys all my life...although i grew up swimming and now compete in triathlons (both sports have split up sexes) I think that females can represent against males. I always kick guys asses in my sports, even though we have different divisions. I routinely beat pro-males on the swim leg of tris. I have no problem competing with males in my sports or car shows. I think that the female mind tends to be more creative then the males. If a female can impliment her ideas to the quality it takes to win, go her.

As far as all female clubs, thats different. I am in an all female club, its more a sisterhood then a team. But isnt that what any club is supposed to be? Not a sisterhood in mixgenders, but a family, friends that share common intrests and goals. And GI has their boytoys, so what they hey!

That you liked it... if the females are really in it for the game, they dont have to have a class for themselfs. I personally, prove myself worthy by coming out on top of all the guys in my class for most shows. (mike, im with you... thats why my car is being sold- fuck shows- shit gets old) If they are the bitchy female that sits there and is like GOSH, we need this we need that... I can understand where you are coming from. Personally I havent liked the idea, just wanted to hear opinions... I already knew where you stood on this matter...

on topic...a female class is kinda dumb, whether male or female we all do it for the love of the sport...and its based on creativity, so i think everyone should compete together. I mean it would be pretty cool to get beat at a show, with a chick that has the same car as you.
