why are people so fuckin scared to touch their own cars? if you have a "general idea" of how to do it then just do it. you'll know as soon as you drive out of your driveway whether it's right or wrong (might even know as soon as you drop the jack). figure out where you went wrong and fix it if you screwed up. you won't learn shit by begging people to come help you and standing on the sidelines.
as for special tools, you can get the spring compressor from autozone (you can buy the damn things for like $20 now or waste that much in gas going back and forth to return them). otherwise, a couple of 17mm wrenches/sockets, a 14mm socket, a 12mm socket, and a 10mm socket and you can disassemble your entire car.
quit asking for help and just get out there and get your hands dirty.

all you need is a jack, some sockets, some metal twine, scissors, a piece of carpet, and good health insurance. Now if you have a spring compressor then for forget those last couple of things
