The wrangler or whatever it's called now body is a great start to build a real off-road vehicle....but jeeps "trail-rated" selling point annoys me. Of couse no other vehicle made is "trail-rated", jeep has that phrase trademarked! Freakin American manufacturers always leading people on....

I said America b/c the question is "who Makes the best cars?" some of ya'll may know that most Hondas, BMW, Toyota, and some Mercedes are made in the USA. that's how I came to my decision.
btw: I think imports are more reliabe b/c of how well people who own imports treat their cars.
btwx2: I've been to several Honda and BWM dealers and their service drives are always busy

turbo diesel, good stuff...if i was to build an off-road vehicle i'd want a wranger or d90 body with a cummins diesel from a dodge...cheap engine with tons of torque

lol @ your sig, he died in a Porsche 550 spyder :-\

yeah i definately wouldnt be bragging about jeep being american. with the exception of the wrangler, the rest of their lineup is garbage. toyota and honda service drives are always busy because people typically maintain them fairly well compared to domestic models. i think ford is by far the best american vehicle line.. and i wouldnt touch a gm with a 30ft pole.

I would get a Pagani if some of you guys were in need of a liver or an other body organ of any blood type, but I would rather get the hard top, maybe the CF one or the plain jayne silver one .

I think it all depends on how you define "best car". Is it "best looking", "best quality", "best in reliability", "best built", etc.

I think Europe by far has some of the best looking cars around, however, they are just like a spoiled little girl, EXTREMELY HIGH MAINTENCE. If you neglect them in any type of way, it will cost you. You end up spending an ass load just to maintain the car.

I think as far as realibility and quality, Japan has it hands down.

If we are talking trucks, then I think American would beat all.

lol, i was in Kennessaw last weekend and had one buck up on me as i was cruising past...i let off and let him do his thing a few more times before dropping it into third and walked passed him...he instantly let off as soon as he realized i was pulling hard Pher was behind me and saw it all.....the earlier ones might not be that fast but they can still handle remarkably.
