There really are hardcore ricers in this world

So today I met up with someone that attends my school. I dont know the guy too well but today I learned enough to not want to know him. Those who have met me, know that im a pretty easy guy to talk to and am fairly nice no matter what the situation. Well today my patience was tested. They guy on here just recently wrecked his car and while heading to one of my classes he stops me and says whats up? Ill start a dialog so its a little easier to read and understand

Me: Hey, what's going on man?

Him: Yo, not much Nemesis (*im thinking to myself.. )

Him: Hey check this shit, my Honda is wrecked.

Me: Oh damn man, what happened?

Him: Well Ill tell you straight up, I hydroplaned it, but I tell everyone I was streetracing when it happened.

Me: ( ** I honestly thought he was joking but later I found out much to my shagrin, he wasnt)

Him: Yeah man.

Me: What are you planning on getting next?

Him: Oh, you know how I do, Im gonna get a G35.

Me: How much is the insurance company giving you? That's quite an upgrade.

Him: Yeah, you know man I got a job and all, plus ive got full coverage.

Me: Shit, how much are they giving you for your Civic?? (Must be around 14k which would be a nice down payment since hes talking about a G35)

Him: 5000.

Me: Oh.... well im heading to class man, later



Fast forward to later that day, I find out hes in a class with me.

Me: Hey what's up

Him: Hey not much.

Him: You street race man.

Me: I run at the track.

Him: Oh, yeah I street race.

Me: So what all did you have done to your Civic and how much HP did you have?

Him: I put down 150 horsepower on the dyno.

Me: Cool, was it a Mustang dyno and that's why it seems low, or was it a dynojet.

Him: Oh it was a dynojet, thats the only fwd dyno they have.

Me: Actually....

Him:**interrupts** Yeah you wouldnt believe... you ever heard of Vtec?

Me: Yeah I have.

Him: Yeah man Im a Honda lover for life. You know Ill be a Honda fan forever, even when they go out of style, ill still drive a Honda.

Me: Cool, Im more of a Nissan fan myself.

Him: Well Nissan dont have Vtec that shit pushes you back in your seat like crazy.

Me: .......... so what cars have you beaten?

Him: Pauses for a little while** ... well Ive ran a Mustang Cobra, Jaguar Type S, pretty much all american cars I can beat.

Me: Wow I dont really believe your 150 wheel horsepower Civic beat a Cobra.

Him: Well he just got the car and didnt know how to drive, I even mis shifted and still beat him.

Me: Interesting... so you can beat all american cars?

Me: Ive got an american car that you can run...? Its an automatic too......

Him: ...

Me: We can maybe go to the track and run for real.

Him: yeah I should try that to see what im really putting down.

Me: Yeah, and to not endanger other people on the street.

Him: haha yeah man, you know if I was out of class right now, id love to be street racing.

Me: Well dont do that shit around me.

Him: Why

Me: I dont want dumbasses around me.

Him: lol naw man, I aint a dumbass.


Pretty much that was the whole convo. I felt stupid after talking to him.

I hope he drops out of that class.
