    I don't know if anyone already posted this... but there is no Music Midtown this year... I never have gone but still kinda sucks... first no HIN now no Music Mistown... kinda weird...

    after our experience at downtown rocks this summer im ok with not being in rowdy (sp?) groups of drunk/sweaty people for a bit!!

    Well, HIN sucked, so doesnt really matter all that much.

    Music Midtown was cool in it's early beginnings...but got lamer and lamer each year....

    some of you youngins probably dont remeber "Rockfest" @ Atl Motorspeedway, but that was probably the best bang for your buck.....plenty of good bands, and plenty of room.

    music midtown was over priced, overcrowded and trashed the park it was in
    im glad its done with, now i can go downtown that weekend and not pay out of the ass for parking, or have to deal with the fucking drunks

    I agree too... but just to add my two cents... Music Midtown is actually not that overpriced if you take into consideration what it costs to run it... concerts like Banaroo, ect.. is like $170 and people actually pay that, lol...

    Music Midtown used to be good, that shit was getting whigitty whack though the past few years.. I remember kickin it backstatge w/ Twista only a few years ago, then all the drunks took over..

    I went for about 7 yrs straight. The first one I went to there were only 5 stages total. Later they moved it to a asphalt parking lot. That made it hot as hell, and standing on grass all day is very different than standing on asphalt. Not to mention it took 1.5 hrs to get to the port-o-potties, and get thru the line (not fun when you had to piss from the begining. It just got too damn big and overcrowded.
