What is it with people?

In the past hour I have seen atleast 10 people walk by my shop on hwy 29 in the rain like it is nothing at all. This is not like walking next door to the chevron but walking from the apartment complex and subdivision half a mile away down a few miles to the store and back. Shit I'd be callin a cab in this shit.

maybe because they dont really have the money for a cab. or they dont feel like being lazy.
i know id get out there and walk. it aint that big of a deal.

I feel sorry for these people that were standing at the UNCOVERED bus stop this morning waiting for Marta. I was cold just walking from my car to the building.

any other day I would say the same thing, but cold, rain and ice on a busy street dont mix at all. Most of the time they are walking back with a brown bag and a pack of smokes, that is something I could wait on.
