TBH Terrorism is in the eye of the beholder. To the Aparthied people in power he was a "terrorist".

There is no doubt he was a communist, thats not even debatable. He was a leader in the SACP.

He did try to overthrow the government (a government that was pretty despicable, i mean aparthied is pretty bad, I equate it to worse than this countries civil rights movement. AP was worse than the south in the 1700s-1900s.

I think you can respect him as a person who fought to end racial segregation and fight for equality even though it was more under the socialist/communist political flag. We disagree politically, but I dont disagree with the equality on the matter.

If his actions were limited to the oppressive government, it might be a little different, even though he's still a communist.

but you dont bomb shopping malls to overthrow the government. You dont burn churches to overthrow the government. You do not stick people inside of a tire and set them on fire to overthrow the government.

Interesting synopsis coming from someone who spoke about actual armed rebellion against any and everyone who tried to take away your right to buy a hunk of zinc plated metal that sits in a safe. Maybe in the grand scheme of things, your right to purchase wall ornaments trumps civil rights I guess.

Nice anecdotal depiction of the most fundamental human right, survival and self defense, which is a civil right i remind you.
