I don't need to. I know that a dynamic IP address when assigned by the ISP is irrelevant, and your MAC may be spoofed to others, but not to your ISP. ISP's require the mac address of your router to be registered to them for security and billing purposes, and when changed has to be re-registered to your ISP to continue your service.

Many new routers can 'clone' your previous routers MAC when you register a new device, but essentially it's pointing back to you regardless. Again, a MAC is a physical address and can only be changed when the physical device is changed.

Spoofing your MAC doesn't hide it. It's like covering your license plate with a piece of paper. It's not hard to look underneath.
