Opera night club

Back a few years ago I was in the night clubs very week. I got married had 2 kids and was slacking on clubbing for almost 4 years. I had a few friend from outa town visiting so we hit up opera night club. I order 3 shot of remy Martin. In the morning I pulled out the receipt and see a $61.00 charge for 3 shot.

Question is does that doing right? $20 for shot is kinda pricey or did I got jit because they think I would not notice?

I order drinks all the time and it no where near this amount. Few years back the shot was only $4-8 but now 20 is a big jump. I mean it an inflation but damn it's a rip off.

I just buy bottles at the store, make my own shots/drinks at home with friends, and still have some for tomorrow. No cover charge either!

You got ripped off dude. It's $10 per shot. I have been there a hundred times and order many top shelf drinks. I never had to pay that much.

I've been there once, and I spent like $160 on 2 people. And all I drank was bud light and he drank about 4 mixed drinks and shots. That place is way over priced and I will never go back there again. However, a club that's worth going to is Havana. I love Friday and Saturday nights there. The people are fantastic, and the girls there are to die for! Just my opinion!

I remember one time Opera had this "GIrls drink free till 1130" bullshit. I got dragged there with some friends and the "free drinks" was the most watered down cranberry vodka using the worst no name vodka ever. And only 1 bartender would serve it, and there was a line 15 people long.

I think i ordered a redbull and grey goose and it was $18, and i was like WTF?

Not really my scene, i stick to dive bars, much better

If i'm paying $18 for a drink it better be served in a glass. Not in a fucking plastic cup. Most clubs are way overpriced anyways. I mean $20 cover? $20 parking? That's $40 that could buy a bottle and mixer. And no DUI.

Everytime i went to Opera i always got a $300 booth in VIP. $30-40 a person, we got a bottle of goose with redbull, usually a free bottle of champagne. It was way worth it to not have to interact with all the dooshes below.

I don't even remember shots being $20 even in Vegas. Of course most of our drinks were comped out there. Opera is a fucking ripoff. I can party and get drunk in my own house for half the price.

Guess that's cause I'm older and half married and have responsibilities now.

Don't tell us you didn't see the amount signing for? A mistake on your end, don't blame them. It's been about a year since I have visited opera, but shots are $10 most places in Midtown. Opera has lost it's limelight, crowd has gotten worst and there are better places to be on Fri/Sat night. I never had problems with drinks tho, was always served right.
