I know better than to have two people in the same seat. You don't chauffeur in a sports car. You chauffeur in a luxury car....but you don't know shit about that do you?

Right!? I mean its not like im going to be ricing someone elses car out, or take the chance of doing something dumb in front of everybody. Low and slow is how it should be! Everybody wins.

Youthink that you can rent someone's decent car with $150-200? You forget about deposit? Every rental car company requires a deposit. Do you think that a private individual should take more risks than a company? If so, you have no business trying to rent anything.

okay serious time. if you just take the time to realize, save yourself the bashing and give up. no one is going to lend you their show car which is most likely valved at well over 10-25k (refering to onebadgt) for a simple 150 to 200 dollars. are you serious. yes it may be 200 ft, but you may be that one ignorrant person to rev the motor, dump the clutch and burnout a little and screw up and hit something. no one cares what you roll up into a prom. the nerdiest band geek who pulls up in a lambo from mommy and daddy is still and always will be the NERDIEST BAND GEEK. so stop trying to be what your not and just be yourself. i mean come on do you really wanna be remembered as a fake posier who all they wanted to do was "look" cool. just go with friends, bring your "girlfriend" and have a goodnight man thats what prom is about and anyone who went to prom can tell you that

You are only looking to pay $150-$200 for this? Scratch me off you list. It will cost you more than that to pull that Lexus out of the driveway. Better to drive your own car.

I already listed them, and he is not old enough to rent them.

The best option is to take the $200, team up with a couple of other guys that have their dates, and put in together on a limo. There is a reason that is the popular option.
Remember, your parents will be happy that they don't have to worry about yoou driving around either. They will probably support a limo rental.

At first glance i was on board with you trying to do something cool, but the prom is overrated. I dont remember anyone "making an entrance" at the prom, there's no red carpet or anything like that. I remember going to the prom in my girlfriend's 4 door integra because it was more comfortable than my hotrod foxbody mustang at the time. We went in, took a picture, said hey to friends, danced 1 time and left to go to the after party then motel afterwards like almost every single other couple at the prom.

spend your money on some drinks or flowers or to decorate or upgrade your room afterwards. $200 spent on a room with a hot tub will go a lot further than pulling up to prom in some sports car that is probably gonna be uncomfortable for your partner anyways.
