I would have like to have gotten chouston's old rims for the GTO. I like that type of wheel - but I'm a guy that run 72 spoke Daytons on his Impala, so I'm kind of old school on wheels.

I read it fine where you said that your fastest pass was 8.5. You made quite a few passes. It doesn't matter what you think that you will run, the fact is that out of all of those passes, you never did get any fast. If you had an issue every time, what makes you think it will be any different if I am in the other lane?
Looks like I need to let you practice some more, because at your slow ETs, you couldn't even put up a good run against my wife's stock Accord.

I ran 8.3 goin through the 8th at reynolds so that should tell you the difference in track prep compared to street tires plus i had full interior at twiggs and full tank of petro!!! I just went down there to play around not to set a world record.....

3700lbs, A/C, Leather interior, IRS car on stock half shafts....still street driven, just sayin'
This is my car. I drove it to the track enjoying my 10" sub and stereo. Made 5 passes with a best of 6.10 @114 w/ 1.38 60ft. This is on 10 psi....not 32.... Then I drove it across town to a basketball game, then to dinner, then to the screet races. Someone post a fwd 4cyl that you can drive to the track legally, make a low 6s pass, then drive it home...on pump gas.
