Can anyone help with Hope grant....

I have something going on with my family up in NJ and i need to go up there ASAP. I have the hope and pell grant, and i'm sorta worried about losing either if i take the trip. Does anyone have any input on this? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

I went out of town for a funeral while having both, the hope and pell, and had to withdraw two of my classes with a hardship withdrawal. Even though the classes did not hurt my gpa i still lost them both. I now have them back but i had to pay for all my classes and books for one semester until i got my grades to full time 3.0 status.... But i would still check with your advisor.

Are you moving out there? Are you on semesters or quarters? Are you talking about 2009-2010 year or 2010-2011 year?

For general info, you will NOT lose Hope unless..

1. Out of state transfer
2. Withdrawl from classes (but if you do you'll be put on probation - Means you can't withdrawl the next quarter/semester and have to make a "C" grade or higher.
