Kids got kicked out for the day with the threat of suspension for wearing american colors/flags on Cinco de Mayo and then Mexican students said it was rude of them.
I personally, think its bullshit. In no way shape or form is that disrespectful. Also, this is America, telling students not to wear American colors on ANY day is bullshit, IMO.

Do people in Mexico even celebrate it? To me its just like St Patricks day for Americans where everyone uses it as an excuse to get drunk as fuck on a day they wouldn't normally do so.

In a school it doesn't matter what you like as a student. You are there to learn the minimum curriculum that the state requires and do so in a manner that is not disruptive to the other students or the order of the classroom.
