    Default How hard is it to import a Canadian car?

    Out of curiousity, how hard is it to import a Canadian car into the U.S.? I am interested in one I saw at a site and was just trying to find out if anyone's done it before. Let me know, thanks.
    My other car is a UP-ARMOR HMMWV(Humvee)
    w/ a MK-19 mounted on top

    I dont think its hard, They have the same cars as us and same saftery standards, etc... Id think atleast

    its not that hard - they are the same cars - only differenecs is that they had daytime headlights before USA and they got plugs to plug the engine into the wall so it doesnt freeze overnight

    it isn't as easy as you think... EGP almost had their rallye golf stripped going through customs

    well yea - you got customs to go through - which might take awhile

    my friend went there he took a I believe 91 accord... he had to swap his dash to KPH... (which was only in MPH, at the time).... this was in '99 though, im sure things have changed since then

    no you cant import a skyline that easy cause canada changed their laws.

    well, thanks for everyones input. if anyone has a definitive answer that would be a great help, if anyone has done it before. thanks
