Default Driven from West Coast to East Coast?

Has anyone driven from like OR to GA or from west to east coast before? Just trying to calculate how long it would take.

When I moved here from Sacramento we did that. Took us 5 days, but we stopped every night and checked out all the sights and whatnot.

My daughter and her dad just drove last week from Marysville, CA to Columbus, GA so he could drop his car off to his mom & some of my daughters toys & summer clothes. Although he's going to be reimbursed by the Air Force for the mileage, food, hotel stays. I did have to give them quicker directions via mapquest than what TomTom was saying. They left the last Tuesday of Feb and got here the Friday of that week. And they just left yesterday and flew to Germany.

edit: Think it took him between 35-40 hours. He was a trooper!!!

Three days is the average, respectable trip length. That factors in a few hours sleep here and there and a couple of stops. Later, QD.

I used to live in Austin,TX. Given that's only LIKE halfway across the country, we would have to make that drive everytime I would move from my moms and dads house. It was like 980 somewhat miles. Took us like 16 hrs at the speed limit or like 5mph over

There's this cool thing called mapquest. You can type in the departure and destination point and it will calculate your miles and estimated time of said trip. HEY! Google does it too! OHH SHIT!

Seriously though. If your trying to figure out the time of the trip just do that. Then all you have to worry about is traffic and how fast u wanna drive

LOL I couldnt believe it when I was driving trucks professionally I got a trainer in Atlanta, I immediatley drove a little over 10 hours towards Los Angeles then I got in the sleeper in the truck and slept while he drove right after. We got to Los Angeles in little over a day, but that's constant driving lol. I couldnt tell you how long it would take regular driving, probably 2 days or 3 maybe more.

I would say it would be a complete 3 days without stopping, because from here to la is 2 days and a half and i mean without stopping cause me and my dad took turns driving.give it 3 or a half, try not to stop, keeping going lol cause its a very tedious drive.
