Let me asy this pertaining to the latest argument...
While I love the R8....beautiful cars...but I see FAR MORE Audi R8s then I do GT3s, GT2s and have only seen one GT3-RS crusing around Atlanta. I mean, comparing the top-of-the-line from Audi and Porsche. Actually, I see more R8s then the afrementioned Porsche models combined.
As for that video of the all-mighty pile of plastic crap aka the ZR-1 beating the other cars, I suggest the other video with better drivers and no bias...the 997 GT2 takes the ZR-1 from a dig and the ZR1 only pulls on the GT2 for just a moment while the turbos spool up and then the distance stays even. Build quality on a Corvette is still disppointing. GT2>ZR1. Besides, a GM v8 always sounds the same..if it's in a truck, a Corvette or a Camaro...they all sound the same..if you were to close your eyes you wouldn't be able to say if its a car or truck. You know what the flat-6 of a Porsche sounds like? A Porsche....distinctive on to itself....one ALWAYS knows the sound of a 911 and know it can only be a 911.

Yeah...ummmm I'm going to have to disagree with that Chris...torque gets you moving, power keeps you going. Remember when Mazda won Le Mans back in 1991 using rotary? Ever watch F1?
Yes I know that Audi and Peugeot use diesel and that diesel is all about TQ...but that requires gearing the car specifically for accelerating with TQ.

Why did they use Audi engines in the 944 again? The 944 is a great chassis, tons of potential, but it's a pile of shit engine.
