Whats the point of a high school reunion?
Seriously? Ive got my 10 year coming up, and I had thought long and hard why I would want to go, but honestly its a waste of time in my opinion. The people I was good friends with either moved states away, changed (obviously), or had me in bad relationships Id rather not be reminded of. So why on earth would anyone want to go to these things?
b/c many people had the exact opposite time as you while they were there and do in fact keep up with many of their HS friends still.
Im not one of them but just sayin...
It's all for people to brag about how they have done for themselves, and to laugh at the people who used to be goody goody and have done nothing. It is just a high school popularity contest all over again for one night. Now we have Facebook and Classmates to do that so I see no point in a Reunion.
College is one thing, but high school is kind of a joke though in terms of friendships/relationships. But then again, thats just me.

my mom recently went to her 25 or something and had a blast lol then again she didn't remember any person there except for like 2 of them. so i'm all for it

Good thing about my school was that by graduation, we already knew who was going to "not make it".
If I didn't add them to my Facebook by now, I really don't care to see or hear from you.
to come back and show everyone how bad ass you've become, and tell them that you remember being called fat. In the end it gave you resolve, and it shaped the awesome person you are today! And then peel out in your mustang throwin up the middle finger.

Ya know.. i did sort of a high school reunion already.. When i went back up to PA for a bit i saw all the people i went to high school and middle school with.. it was really funny. i went to one of the bars and saw the "most popular douchebag" in highschool that used to threaten me all the time fall off the bar stool cause he was so drunk. he followed me around all the rest of the night tryen to be like we were best buds! and the saying "most popular only leaves you lonely" is so true. the hottest girl in school that wouldnt give me the time of day gave me her number 3 times that night. her "highschool sweet heart" ended up knocking her up and leaveing her! all i could do that entire night was laugh! (specially when my ex walked in!) she had become a cop! A damn sexi one at that! first time in a long time i let a female handcuff me!! but im tellin ya if youve done anything with your life id go. cause your most likely to find that the people that were popular back then just turn out to be shit now..

Meet up with people who you never talked to, act like you didn't talk sh*t about them in the locker room, seeing who has done the best since then, see people who you haven't seen in years or found on facebook which means you could care less about them.
IMO if I was your friend in HS you're still my frien. I have friends from 7th grade I still hang with every wed. So a reunion is no biggie. I see people from high school whenever I go to that side of town and go through the "oh hey!!! How you been!?! Well.....uhhh....I guess I'll talk to you later!!! Good seeing you!!" And never talk to them again. That's good enough for me!

What I'm getting at is that you're going to be sadly disappointed if you go to your reunion thinking you're gonna be king-dingaling. Everyone there is going to be successful in their own aspect. Unless you're a business prodigy and are already raking in the dough, you're not going to be anything special.

im a private school kid also. dont see much of a point in going since i dont keep up with many anyways and i was only at the school for 3 yrs. they had a 1 year party and they have annual alumni games. guess we will see what happens.

my whole class is on facebook... so i dont think my high school reunion will be too great.....and the fine girls got fat, and all the medium girls, got fine and married. And the dudes are dudes..
But it doesn't show what cars were tested, and what broke on them. Of course a base model civic is going to have less hiccups than say a BMW 335. There's way more shit that can break on a fully loaded 335.
