    Default DMV Question

    I know this is random but I really need a quick answer. My friend is 19 and he says he needs someone older than 21 to be there. I dont know if that's true but going on the DMV site I dont find any info like that. Is this true?

    what is he doing there? you dont have to as far as i understand. when i turned 18 i went to dmv by myself to get license changed

    i had my dad drive me to the dmv when i first got my license but did all the rest by myself and i was 16

    The only reason why you need someone else there is because, not having your DL, you can't drive by yourself yet. And that person doesn't have to be 21. It would be foolish to pull up to DMV by yourself on just a Learner's Permit. Other than that, you don't need anyone else with you. Later, QD.

    That's what I was thinking. Other than the bus, there is no way he can get their solo. Maybe he wanted to drive up there for some last minute practice?
