I had ClearWire for about 5 weeks a couple months ago. We switched our phone and internet to their service, and 2.5 out of those 5 weeks we had no phone service. The internet is in and out. Sometimes you have good speed, but most of the time it was horrible. I would never get their service again and I advice you not to as well. They advertise themselves as being as fast as cable but that is at best.

I recently found out when I tried to cancel that in the fine-print they make you pay a cancellation fee when terminating their service even if you move to an area (such as Oklahoma) where they do not have service. Luckily we bitched and moaned enough that they waived our $180 cancellation fee (it can be anywhere from $160 - $250 I believe). Oh and they also have a major lawsuit on their hands signed by thousands of people from the cancellation fees.

Sprint is a major shareholder or part owner of clear iirc. the 4g on clear is the same 4g from sprint. clear uses sprint towers to receive/deliver signal. haven't heard so much good stuff about clear, but ppl keep saying that when all of the towers open up across the country, the speed/signal will become much better.

Don't get it lol. Waste of your time and money. You have to keep the router by the window at all times or it won't connect. It'll work like 40 minutes out of an hour, sucks. I had it for 2 days and it pissed me off. At&t FTW

I have it in my store and I have 100% perfect service and signal. I had it in my office (metal studs) and even though signal was lower, speed never was. Moved outside of the office and get all 5 bars...it is not in front of a window.

I also have mobile service and I have never had an issue connecting anywhere I was.

I know 7 other people that have it and they also love it.
