She was in several sitcoms, was a popular voice in successful animation series ( over 200 episodes in just King of the Hill). She was widely critically acclaimed and no 3rd rate celebrity. She's was active in Hollywood since childhood, she was far beyond Tara Reid but the rest of what your saying is correct
