    fuck er (not in the literal sense) you can only do what you can, just make sure she pays her child support or call the cops on her ass. Youre taking responsibility for your actions, make sure she does the same.

    If the mother or father of a child, which is either legitimate or born out of wedlock, abandons the child who is in a dependent condition, the abandoning parent commits the crime of child abandonment. When the abandoning parent does not furnish sufficient food, clothing, or shelter for the needs of the child, the child shall be considered to be in a dependent condition. O.C.G.A. 19-10-1.

    Child abandonment shall be punishable as a misdemeanor, unless the abandoning parent leaves the state while the abandoned child is in a dependent condition. In that event, the abandoning parent shall be guilty of a felony, punishable by imprisonment of not less than one nor more than three years.



    Child abandonment in Georgia; what does it mean? The criminal side, "Criminal Non-Support (Abandonment Warrant) Child abandonment is a misdemeanor offense in Georgia with a penalty of a $1,000 fine or up to 12 months in prison, when a parent has failed to provide sufficient food clothing, or shelter for the needs of the child for 30 days.     Just please try to make the most conscience decisions for the child and never do anything just to get back at the mom. Forget her. Sounds like she would only bring heartache/drama to the childs life and not love. Good luck with everything.

    It hasn't been 30 days, either. I see this female going through the court and having her rights removed. She'll then be free of any responsibilities to the child and won't reap the (legal) woes of doing so.

    The OP, I hope you're a better dude in real life than you portray on IA because if not, I feel for the child.

    The only kudos I can give you right now is your word and intentions with this child. I have a feeling that this child will be majority raised by a grandparent.

    At 18 you have almost no chance to raise the kid right. Adoption is your friend. Do it while the kid is still young enough to not be negatively affected.

    FUCK YOU. my aunt had her first child at 15, and all her kids make 6 figures plus. Age has nothing to do with it. its a maturity thing an obviously this guy is more mature than most 18yr olds. hes manning up tot take care of his kid.

    a child needs their biological parents more than anything. i can tell you dont have kids. Even if he did put her up for adoption, 13yrs later she is gonna be trying to find her mom and dad to ask "why". my cousin found out he was adopted in his 20s and sure enough went looking for his biological parents.


    Keep your child, the tramp doesnt deserve her and she deserves at least one good parent. Foster care and the state care is super bullshit!!!!! they dont give a fuck about those kids and most wind up being molested. heritage high school is full of girls that are left in state care. all of them were sluts and some had had sex witht the director of the group home.
