i have a associate in civil engineering technology, and i have 5 years experience in working w/ 2D design w/ AutoCAD, i saw one ad of a Geodetic Technician, basically testing soils to make sure all is well at the site..so i applied since i wouldnt be stuck on the inside all day long...

All that aside, you have to make ends meet and IL isnt a poor state. I would mention OH, but I dont think this place is stable enough. IL (ESPECIALLY CHICAGOLAND) is very diversified and stable. OH is NOT, but Columbus is under heavy (and late) diversification to stay afloat. I have no info on IN or the cities of WV(which I doubt he'd want to move too)
