Scary moment for me with my car today!
So as ya'll know by now, I rarely take my car on the streets. NO tag, No title etc causes this. Well I burnt up 1/2 a tank of gas cruising around the neighborhood the last several months and I needed gas, so I went .7 miles to the closest gas station to get more gas. Well I was "spirited" in my driving to say the least. There were 0 cars behind and in front of me the whole way. So I pull into the gas station and get to the pump. I step out and I hear "Woop woop" form a police car and my body goes numb. My eyes dart around looking waiting to get busted and I see a cop in the intersection right in front of the gas station with the blues flashing. I stare and wait for him to turn into the gas station and another cop pulls up and does the same thing. I'm thinking "did I pass those cops with my "spirited" driving on the way to the gas station and they pulled U-Turns? I had no idea because I watching my boost creep up on my boost gauge. So 2 cops, lights on, stopped in an intersection right after I "cleaned out the carbon buildup" Im in slow motion getting gas, thinking for sure I was busted. Whats the next thing I see? No not an other cop. A herse. It was a funeral procession! I was so relieved that they werent looking for me. I normally hate seeing funeral processions because I think of all the mourning people, but this time, I was relieved sadly to say.
Moral of the story: I gotta get this damned car legal! (STILL!)
