You need to know how to do what? If all you want to do is find the leak. Fill the system up with water, and get a coolant pressure tester (just a pump) take the pressure up to whatever your radiator cap says to go to, and look for the leak. Then ya just take it from there, but ya, I wouldn't suggest you doing the water pump, but a hose can be done very easily = )Quote:

just a fyi.....anytime you have to tow a car home from a problem, it's probably not the best idea to take it for a test spin and "get on it".....sheesh.

also, anytime it's a cooling problem, start with the cheap stuff, ie hoses, thermostat, also...it's a good idea to check your coolant box...sometimes they get old and crack. Check your radiator and then you can move onto the fun stuff which is your waterpump.
Well Like I said once I got it home and popped the hood I think I foudn the hose that was dripping...
Here is a older pic of the engine bay but the hose i think it is.... or the general vacinity its coming from...

Hey Karen,
Just saw you @ np. Like I said I'm almost positive it is the hoses that run under the intake manifold. They are a disaster waiting to happen. Coolant line that feeds the stock oil cooler has a nipple in the back off the block that goes into the IAC (Idle air control) then into the TB and then back into the front of the block.
Best to just bypass them all together or plug the block.

Get used to having problems with your car... it comes with having power... just don't work yourself up over a small problem, thinking it may be something big in a worst case scenario.
I dunno if you plan to mod your car to make some good power... but if ya do, a coolant leak is only a pebble in your path for more power. =]
