That attendance at local meets has picked up tremendously. I've been going to a few of them and I've seen easily 150-200 cars.
I really like that.
If you check out the EVENTS SECTION there is something going around ALL OVER TOWN.

Yea man, I think IA needs to get more ''IA meets'' going on, even if it's not as big as TFS or w/e it's called.
Bozzio for president.
The only bad thing about this, though, is that there is always a story rolling back on here about some fighting and shit. That sucks man. It'd be great to have the meets like the old days and with the numbers you're spitting out, it sounds like it is getting back to that. Now if folks will just chill out and be cool while there.
Other than that, it's great to see all the meets transpiring. Later, QD.
yeah that would definitely be worth something i think. i mean if the mini meets show you that people are coming out, then there should be something.

I think meets have started to overshadow car shows...and I think companies and organizations should take that into account should they want to remain relevant in today's scene.
but mind you 85% of those kids are either ricers or daddy and mommy bought me this, now Im going to show it off, and later crash it.
Sort of like the G'nett Sonic Meet - that thing has grown HUGE - I'd say at least 200 cars.
Like QD said, you do have the tom foolery, like tonight of burnouts, and an Xterra lost control and drove through a tree. Yes. Through it.![]()

Its nice to know that the scene is picking back up. The past few years have been boring for the import scene.
Its like what someone has said before. It comes in cycles. when I walked onto the scene 3 years ago it was pretty big at bp alone. But passing by over the past few weeks its been bigger than I remember way bigger. I may actually have to start showing my face again. It hasnt been this packed in a while so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.
I have to agree there have been several more people coming out to meets both local and in the Atlanta area. The only bad side to this is there are those few that are stupid, and want to show out and get the cops called. I have meet some awesome people at meets recently and hope too continue to, its nice to be able to get together with others who have similar interests and just chill without any drama.

Summer time it always picks up, i've got pics from nearly every V meet since 2006. The smaller meets have definitely been picking up though, guess hanging out in a parking lot is a cheap date in this economy![]()
yea that "midnight cruise" thing was a real success too. Mad ill cars there..![]()
Way Too Big

Last nights Varsity meet was big, the Import Alliance meet at the Dome was pretty cool too. Things seem normal to me, even mostly the same cars at "usual" meets.
I am sad that there are two shows/meets/ on the 19th instead of one.

Its worthless even having people like you post in another persons thread. Its called letting people who dont go into the EVENTS SECTION see that we have an EVENTS SECTION and get more traffic there for sponsors and advertisers throwing EVENTS. Glad I took you off my team.
LOL i could care less what stickers you have on your car, princess.
