check and see if my heart is still beating?? LOL The hood on my car came up at about 50 MPH today on the way back to work. I'm not sure what scared me more, the sound of the hood slamming into the roof or the roof hitting me in the head at the same time. Yeah, it caved the roof down that far

On the XR? This happened to me in my Avenger when I was 16. Scare the shit out of me. Happened to me at around 60mph on a high hill sharp corner. I was able to not hit anything.

happened to me once in an evo8.. but we were doing like 115-120.. windshield almost caved on us, but the roof was fine.. of course the driver pulls over and opens the sunroof after i told him "DONT DO THAT, IT'S GONNA BE BROKEN, GLASS WILL FALL IN" and he did it anyways..

Damn dude that sucks at least it wasn't a nice car. Those kind of situations can scared the shit out of you and even cause accidents. I know it scared the shit out of me one time we had just purchased a 95 Integra and we were driving home going around 90mph and the wind visor on the sunroof started making a loud buzzing/beating sound all of a sudden. We could have sear it had blown the motor or had a flat tire, but it was just the visor beating against the sunroof.
