honestly though, that was just a retarded move - chances are the cop chased you is because you gunned it out of nowhere at a light, therefore looking suspicious to the officer, and with all the random turns, not really helping with the suspicion. When I lived in my home town the local PD would follow me around like that. When they did that I would always take the longest route possible and stop at stop signs for like 5 seconds and go 5 or 10 under just to upset them.
