I think bathroom attendants are cool because they keep people moving in and out of the bathrooms quickly. They keep people from standing around talking on the phone, doing drugs, pulling their pud, or whatever else people do in bar/club bathrooms besides peeing. I also think it discourages any douchebag behavior like peeing in the floor/sink/etc.

Its worth $0.50 to me to be able to get in and get out quickly.
