    so a friend of mine has had the hook up on some giant african land snails. still trying to find someone to re ship them from overseas due to the fact that they are illegal (highly invasive)

    so despite the legal complications would you keep one as a pet?

    I wouldn't keep it as a pet, but a lab-experiment, yes. I'd test it to see if it could handle a 20 foot drop to the ground and a rock-smash to it's shell.
