In response to the recent cancellation of the August IA Varsity meet, the Varsity posted a letter in a recent issue of the AJC....

The Varsity is saddened by the news that the August monthly meeting of car enthusiasts tied into the import scene has been cancelled. We at The Varisty look forward to the monthly gathering of car enthusiasts with much anticipation. We hope that the meet will return next month with a grand showing of beautiful cars. We would like to extend an invitation to all import enthusiasts to still come out to the Varsity this Thursday night even with the meet being cancelled. Be sure to come inside and when the server asks you, "What'll You Have?" just reply by saying, "Imports Rule!, Give Me A..." and then ask for your order. You will get half price on your meal for showing your support. We hope to see you out this Thursday night.
Sounds like the Varsity really wants the tuners out there.
