    Exclamation getting out of tickets..HELP!

i just got a ticket yesturday for 16. which is going to cause me tons of fines, and a year of no license. this is because 5 months ago, i got a 24 over ticket that was reduced to 23 over so i could keep my license, but only drive to school work and church. for that ticket i got 6 months probation, 40 hours community service, 6 hours defensive driving, the restricted driving, and a bunch of money gone. she told me if she seen me back in court with in the 6 months i was going to be "sitting with those gentlemen right there" as she looked at some guys locked up in jail suits. and that i would lose my license for a year.

OK, on that ticket i was fucking stupid and said guilty, im saying not guilty this time. im also going to call the officer and explain to him whats going to happen cause he pretty nice, and maybe he just wont show up? also going to bring up that he didnt inform me i could have a calibration check. when u get pulled over with a radar gun does it require him to ask or tell me i can get a calibration check? going to be trying to get my court date changed a few times. if there is anything else i can do to have any chance of having them drop this ticket TELL ME!!! now is not a good time for me to not have a license.

^^ Wrong, she has been on here for years but the forum crashed a few months back so we had to all re-register in March. We gave everyone thier post counts back from the years they have had. I edited my date back to when I really joined but many still show March

And hate to tell you many IA members will say the same, Most people have grown tired of all these type of threads because people in general always look for a way out instead of just paying thier fines, its not pointing you out

Why do people do what they want on the street and break the law knowing they are, and then ask for ways out of it when they get busted? This is whats wrong with these kids, they never want to own up to what they do wrong in life, they always look for a way out of it.

thats basically kinda not pleading at all, you not telling them your quilty of doing that, but your also not telling them you didnt do it. i think its just to get a less harsh charge or something.

LOL, I thought you were 16 to, I got that backwards.... But still, Every week someone comes on here asking how to get out of a ticket, Granted we all speed, Im not acting like we dont, BUT when we get tickets we dont need to bitch about it or ask for ways out of it, we do the crime we do the time, ya know? Hell I cruise at 90+ on the GA400, But if I get stopped I wont come on here asking how to get out of it, cause I know after all I was speeding no matter how it comes down to.

just now seen this post, yah i know the whole do the crime pay the time deal. but im not going to just do the time without trying to get out of it. because there is plenty ways to get out it, i was just posting here so i could find out what the other ways were.

and at some point i thought you were talknig shit, but i think i got you confused with someone else. haha sry, i re-read all your post and was like ooops. also the part of this kid my friend bought some rims from said he couldnt stand the "brett" guy off here. and then i think i just read your name and not your post. but you seem cool.

No, but our type of cars attract cops attention, Sucks but that will never change, Hell a few months back a cop was sitting across the street from my subdivision and just as I pull out he made a u-turn and flipped on his lights and stopped me for no seat belt, I mean, I didnt even get to fully pull out before he saw my car and went after me. Custom Imports attract cops, Sucks but thats what we deal with

my god, i have to agree with brett! either do the speed limit or pay a damn ticket & deal with all of the consequences! roads have speed limits for a reason! i don't care if nobody else does 45 on 20. you went over 45, got busted, now pay the ticket & whatever else they give you. my "ex" was 25 & got a ticket...it was his 8th ticket so he got a year probation (which costs $39 once a month when he sees his probation officer), $350 fine, 40 hours of community service & a defensive driving class...the judge also told him that if he came in any contact with the law within the next year, he would be sitting in jail for the rest of his probation. & he was driving a damn 4-door civic that was so damn slow, it couldn't get out of it's own way. he learned his lesson...an expensive lesson! so don't use the car you drive or your age as an excuse. they may discriminate occassionally, but for the most part, they bust whoever is breaking the law. i'm sorry, but i'm with short & outspoken in the sympathy area...if you were speeding & hit me with my kids in the car & hurt one of them, oh lord, i'd hate to think of what would happen.

i'm not saying i don't speed...god knows i've had my fair share of tickets. but every time i've gotten one, i've paid it & shut the hell up, not tried to look for some stupid way to get out of it. hell, the last ticket i got, they considered suspending my license for having too many tickets, but they decided not to. i did nothing to fight it...i just showed up in court like i was supposed to & i got lucky. i sped a/k/a broke the law & i had to pay for it. i'm sure just about everybody else on this site has done the same. now it's your turn to grow up & take responsibility!

because im asking if there is a way to get out of a ticket i need to "grow up". there is no growing up needed, this is more of a post for me to LEARN how to do something or if its possible.

omg man so many bandwagon posters on IA its not even funny. This kid has a ticket (his dumbass fault for getting it, but what done is done)... hes simply asking what the best thing to do now in this situation... (and no paying up is not the best thing)... I have a friend who has gotten out of like 6 traffic violations... just go to a lawyer. Either way it is going to end up costing you, but if you want to remain among the driving, get a lawyer, simple as that.

I have read that but none of those apply to me, the only one close to applying for me the was if you get 4 points in one ticket thing. which i would have got but i asked themt o lower my speed, and they did and i ended up with only getting 3.

HEY, THATS A GOOD FUCKIN IDEA. but this was one of those things where i wasnt trying to speed, it was just a open road and i wasnt watching my speedometer. i really havent done much speeding since my first ticket. there was a few times on back roads but that was it.

I've had 3 speeding tickets.. First one has already dropped off.. 2nd one I plead nolo and the 3rd fucked me out of a lot of money.. I had to take defensive driving ($75) $280 fine, 1 year probation.. I told the judge the truth.. I had 2 full time jobs and I was a full time student living on my own with no help from my parents.. He pretty much completely understood that I needed my license.. Not to mention I went to court 4 weeks before my 21st bday..

Seriously, why do you think it's sooo expensive for young people to have insurance even on a 4 cylinder car.. It's not cause they don't want you to have a V8.. It's because kids DO NOT WATCH THEIR SPEDOMETER, NOR DO THEY WATCH THE ROAD OR THE OTHER CARS AROUND THEM... Kids are extremely ignorant and do not listen to their parents because they think they know everything about everything and think they are invinsible... I hate to have to admit, but I lost several friends in highschool because of their careless behavior on the road...

Open road or not, you really should pay A LOT more attention to what you are doing because it's not only your life in your hands, it's everyone and everything else's around you.

that sucks, but just because i dont watch my speed doesnt mean i think i know what im doing and dont know how to drive. and i dont depend on my parents for anything, or not listen to what they tell me. i am pretty observant of my surroundings when im driving. mainly because i only pay liability and uninsured motorist for my insurance. thats because like you said, insurance is alot for 16-21 year olds. so if i was to get ina wreck, then ide be screwed, unless the other persons insurance covered it.

Heres an idea. If you don't get out of the ticket then sell your car and buy a bicycle. Especially since you were warned and you did not pay attention and try to obey the speed limit, this is your outcome. Your only hope at this point is that your friend pulled some strings and got you off or the cop does not show up. Usually if a judge warns you about seeing you again, they will throw the book at you the second time.

haha yah i already got a bike just incase. as for selling ym car im just going work on it the whole time. for some reason ive always had a problem with the idea of selling my car, even if im not going to be using it. its just a civic but i like my 230,000 miles car. this judge better ease up though, she came to where i worked (not to check up on me or something), and i had to make her a pizza, for her and my managers brother. that was when i worked at sherwood forest! haha, then when i started delivering for pizza hut, i had to deliver to the good ole officer who gave me the first ticket. i wanted to ask if he remembered me, but i was scurrred

haha i wasnt worried about him trying to arrest me, im pretty sure that would be impossible for just asking if he remembers a 69 in a 45 on stanton. i was just more worried that he would find it unappropriate and call my manager.
