    Default I am No longer and Admin/Mod

    Tonight i have downgraded myself to a regular user. I wasnt going to make a thread initially but i wanted to say a few things....


    Dont PM me anymore cause i cant do shit for you.

    To be honest, im just tired of it all. After what happened last week, im just over it. Ive come to realize i no longer share the same attitude, concerns, opinions of the majority of the users and moderators. This isnt a shot to anyone, or calling anyone out, i just think its time i step down and someone else try their hand at it.

    Im tired of the bitching, moaning, complaining from everyone, even myself. I just have more important things in my life that i need to do and focus on, and i think having this attitude is not fair to Paul, Julio, and the other SM and Admins .

    My time on IA has been decreasing more and more month to month because IMO the gap has been widening between what i find enjoyable online and what this current group of users likes. Seems everyone thinks i step on their toes or i cross my boundaries, blah blah blah. This way you can no longer blame me, and frankly i dont have to care anymore.

    I honestly dont consider myself an elitist and i always thought i did what was right.

    I just have no desire to argue anymore or enforce policies that are just going to get overrun anyway or cause people to get upset at me for just doing what i was asked too.

    Good luck to all the current mods and users. I will continue to support the site as it has done a lot of good things to me and i will always support paul and julio in what they do. its because of them this little sandbox is here in the first place.

    My time is winding down here, so i think it was best for me to let someone else try their hand at it.

    I wish I could tell you what a mistake this is... but I know you need to do it. IA will suffer for it. We need more admins and mods with a clear sense of right and wrong, and the willingness to stand up for it even when it's unpopular.

    thank you for being such a great admin and good friend. I will always respect you more than you could ever imagine for the pride you have taken in the positive track of IA.

    IA will never be the same.... and honestly may not recover.


    We should be ditching people like Brett and JM... not pushing away the people who make this site great.

    LOL, well Mike I understand 100% where you are coming from. There has been days,weeks , I didnt post due to the same reasons. There are to many kids on this site that act like they are 12 and they are 30.I will soon be right behind as I know many others which are MODS or was and they see it just like you stated.Mike I am sorry that you had to do this, but maybe this will open the eyes to some and more shit can be fixed .

    I totally understand Mike. And by no means and i swinging from your nut bc i got the biggest balls of em all but ive had the same thoughts as you for a while now. I guess ppl do grow up or change, however you want to put it. Ive seen a few times where i think the newer mods abouse their privilages bc certain ppl are their friends but im not on enough to say for sure. I even see mods abusing thier privilages just for their own ego but whatever. Ill still be on here and sale stuff and bs like i always have, but as most of the older members can see, i have been posting alot less than i used to back in the days.

    I dont know what happened last week so i cant make a comment to it but im sure it wouldnt surprise me. Either way, i got ur number and even though theres a 50/50 chance ull respond to my text i can still harrass you. LOL!!
