I heard the Civic fool was going 70mph and the cop lol'd when said 30 and tried to take the 30 foot skid marks into consideration and then you admitted to speeding. I hear you were left far back and trying to catch up.
What do I think? Both idiots in this situation just as equally and nobody is to blame more then the other. Who stays flat out over a blind crest? I know where this happened, at 30mph you have plenty of time to see anything, it's not just some small random hill. If you were going 30 it could have been avoided.
wrong. i was going about 40-45. the cop said "why shouldn't i give you both wreckless driving tickets" trying to be a hardass. i told him i crested a blind hill and the kid was right in the middle of the road, and then he said if i wanted to have the skid marks checked and all this and that and then just stared @ me. i said no because he could have done anything he wanted to @ that point, and a wreckless driving ticket isn't just a slap on the wrist. so instead of fighting the cop, i said no. which is what anyone else would have done in the same situation. run your mouth and get a wreckless driving ticket, so just stfu and get off with a warning. you choose.
this however, it somewhat true. my brakes felt horrible, and i had absolutly no confidence in them, so i just cruised in the veyr back going really slow. I wasn't however trying to catch up with anyone. Once the run began i reailized that with limited sight around each turn, and how bad my brakes were, it was idiotic to try to keep up with anyone. hence, the reason i just chilled in the very back.
flat out? right kid. i come over a hill and hit the brakes and the kid is right infront of me. ask anyone who was there, it was un avoidable.

Funny that you say that the cop laughed when i said i wasn't speeding (which was a lie), because i spoke with the cop yesterday and he said this about matthew "He was VERY cocky, arragonat, and wouldn't stop talking about his racing license. It was pretty obvious who was @ fault for the accident, and the police report reflects that"
I was done with this thread, but it's just humerous now that matthew is spreading all these rumors to try and cover his own stupidity. Well, the police report is out now dude, therefore all this he said she said bullshit is all but pointless.
and i'll post pics of the wreck when i get home... if you see the dammage and then tell me i was going 70, then you must be on crack.
70mph accident in an EF and it would be completely demolished, not just a bent core support and a pushed back wheel.
If you are on a run and KNOW there are people in the pack that are behind, why even play in the road period until they are caught up? Its stupid to play in the road anyway, but especially when there is someone GAURANTEED to come up on you!
Uh oh, Mr.Imatrackdriverandgaypmsbuttbuddy. How do you know he was flat out over a crest? Anything I repeated was from multiple eye witness' and the driver himself. Who told you all these little facts of yours? Probably Matthew or one of his friends. His pictures show NO indication of doing 70 mph.

My gf had a wreck at 35 in her 02 Lancer and it totaled it breaking her arm and giving her other injuries. Yet NOBODY was hurt in this case. Right, he was doing 70. His car is in MUCH better shape considering it's a small toy of a car anyways.

Were YOU there when all this happened??? Or did Matthew tell you this load of BS after swallowing yours?? Well I was there, and am listed in the police report as a witness. Alan was nice enough to bend the story to the police officer to help keep Matthew from getting a ticket, along with the 8 other witnesses. However, knowing how his douche ass is going to handle this now, none of us should have been so nice. The only way for this to have been avoided was for Matthew to have not been "drifting" in the middle of the road. There is no way in hell Alan was going more than a few over the speed limit, if so both cars would have been demolished and Matthew would have probably killed his passenger. Alan was chilling in the back of the pack all night, and was by no means playing catchup. The only thing the cop lol'd about was when Matthew was explaining why he shouldn't get a reckless driving ticket to the cop. He said the he was going to take it to the track from now on, and that he had his SCCA license. The cop then asked if he knew what would happen to his expensive SCCA license when he gave him a reckless driving ticket? Lol at trying to make it sound like you were just making a left turn in front of someone,and then come back with saying that you were going to take it to the track next time, lol wtf???? You shouldn't have to go to the track just to make left turns you dumbass, he basically admitted to the cop that he was acting a fool.
