    Default surgery

    well i just got home about an hour from getting all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and my face is numb... its kinda cool, i can pull the hair on my chin and not even care...lol. but yea im about to start hurting... anyone got any tips for me to make this go by easier?

    when i had mine out i slept a bunch.. kept taking my pain pills and didnt eat anything hard for about 4 days... the last thing you want is dry sockets... i didnt get them but most people do and that ish hurts... oh and NO SUCKING for about 5 days

    u get htem pulled or surgerically removed? haha i got all 4 of mine surgerically removed about 2 months ago. after my face stopped being numb it didnt really hurt at all. and since i didnt have them pulled out my cheeks didnt look liek chipmunks. i kinda fucked up on my medication they gave me, i was suppost to take one before the surgery so i wouldnt get sick after. well i didnt, and i puked about 3 times that day. then i had hydrocodone but since i didnt need it i solt that, if i ever did need anything ibuprofen worked. i guess dont use straws to drink and ull be good, and dont smoke.

    i just smoked weed...and took pain killers, i didnt feel any pain for a few days.

    feel better soon! i had mine removed when i was 13 or 14 - but it wasn't so bad. the biggest problem i had was my stitches came out the next day. just eat some ice cream and avoid sucking! oh and think of puppies and candy canes - that makes everything better.
    Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it!

    I am gettin mine out later this week, I just bought a whole bunch of soft foods to eat now until then, cause my shit hurts like a BIA.

    If you havent already swelled up like a chipmunk..... you will. (TAKE SOME PIX AND POST THEM UP) But yea, avoid sucking on ice or anything like that....eat jello and some ice cream....I managed to eat chicken noodle soup and some ramen noodles too- whatever you're more comfortable with... just take it easy though, and keep your tongue out of the holes.

    well day after... my right side is comppletly fine but my left side swelled up alittle bit. but it hurts bad only on the left??? who knows. well time to go lay down

    your stitches may have come out on the left, or food could have gotten in there, or maybe the left side was more impacted or something which could make them hurt

    at least you can take something. i am allergic to hydrocodone and a shit load of other drugs. but i found that out the hard way when i had my tonsils removed in june.

    Well i guess i know what to expect now I think may mine may have to surgically removed thought but i dunno. I was just at the dentist last week, and he told me that we will check again in 6 months I'm not very good with pain so I'm not looking foward to either procedure, But anyways I hope u get to feeling better soon Ricky

    awww. im sorry to hear about your alegeries... but the surgery reallyu isnt bad. they gave me laughing gass for about 5 minutes then put in the iv so i didnt feal it then i went to sleep. then i woke up and my whole face was numb from 10:30 till 9:30 at nite. its really not bad. just wait till your teeth are out and not impacted. thats when it hurt the worst
