Miranda, I'm not sure if I touched a sore subject here or not so let me speak my 2 cents on the subject since it's my opinion and never said anything about yours in here (in fact I didn't even read your response till after I posted). After that I'm done with posting in here because I already answered the poll.
I lawl'd at the question because it was the reason my parents are divorced.
In the past I've had what I would call 2 "serious" relationships. My highschool sweetheart that I dated for 5 years and the girl I dated after college for 1.5 years. The highschool girl that I dated cheated on me and I cheated on her also. I was young dumb and didn't care about much except myself. Between her and the girl after college was just random dates and misc. relationships that never amounted to more than a handful of beans.
I've learned a lot from dumb things I've done in the past and have grown a lot even in just the last year. Since you didn't know me a year ago I can't really expect you to understand that.
So from my view point I've been cheated on, and did cheat. <- sucks and I've learned to stop being dumb with my life. (in my opinion cheating is dumb)
BUT the question dealt with married people. I have not, I will not mess around with someone that is married. I was taught right about relationships from the beginning, I was just hard headed in choosing to follow what I knew was right all along when I was younger.
So if my opinion goes against yours and the gray areas you mentioned so be it. In the end you're still my friend Miranda. I don't hold anyone to my values but myself.

HOWEVER, if they're in the process of divorcing one another and the relationship is over, then who cares? The only problem I could see arising out of that situation is the potential "I want this to be serious" when a new divorcee is unlikely to be itching for a new commitment (given the unfortunate failure of the last one).. But that's a risk you take in any relationship.
