I've grown to love the tear drop marker lights, but I do wish it were a low windshield (pre '67).

    What's the one you're getting?

no we don't sell wheels, but we sell everything you would need to build a jeep from restoration parts for your 1940 willys to your off roading new JK

honestly i don't remember the exact year but it is 70's, it needs alot of work though from motor, exterior, interior, etc... its been sitting for the past 12 years under a cover

It's a '70 model then considering that was the last year

If it needs a motor, go ahead and swap in a miata motor/tranny. It's been put in with no cutting at all, just adapter plates for motor mounts/tranny mount, then have a driveshaft made. It's also cheap and reliable. Either way, it should be fun. Check out 311s.org and SEROC.net. Lot of good info and vendors

i could be mistaken it could be late 60's - i'll definately look into it i know i've seen everything from v8, sr20, and ztec swaps in there.

Most likely it is a late 60's.
If you don't mind some cutting the possibilities are endless.

I know the ford 2.3T has been done, wonder if a T56 could be matched up to that

Ha ha --- man I got to drive a deuce and the 5 ton in the Phillipines doing counter drug stuff when I was in the Air Force --- I fell in LOVE!!! VERY versatile --- u can't break the bitch - it's a bad ass truck. I see them for sale all the time and they are very easy to work on and actually pretty cheap - I will do something dumb and own 1 at some point in my life.

Nice Site, Straight forward design for easy navigation. One of the companies on the left pane shows up a little dark but hey, it's prolly my settings that are off.

    Well Done PF.

    Website:

It looks good overall. It didnt take long for me to figure out what the website was about.

Here is what I might do:

    * Make the "usable" part of the website a little wider. I'm on a low res laptop and there are two wide bands of empty space on both sides. Currently you have 3 "columns". I say put in four. Make the "Welcome" pieces 2 columns wide and also the first one. Next would be "our brands" and then the advertisements. You cant put in advertisements ahead of welcome text IMO.

    * Integrate the search catalog function into the main piece up top - its a crucial piece.
    * Add some visual boxes/tabs to the menus up top.
    * Increase the font size of the submenu text

BTW what is that wheelie bar looking metal piece sticking out of the front of the jeep? What's its purpose?

thanx man um... the stinger front is another typical tubular look and mounting spot, plus towing w/ Dring integration.

uproot helped me out w/ some graphics work

sikfricks - we are B2B company only and we started off in the OE part and restoration biz; our rugged ridge line has blown up though so we sell quite a bit of aftermarket items. all of the big players in the jeep market buy from us; we even make parts for Chrysler

Major Motion - let me know about the datsun

I forgot to mention - I think it's well done, and doesnt look "cheap". That's the biggest piece and you have that down. The rest is not as important as having a highly functional website (especially for B2B) IMO.

    Good luck with it!
