    Default Cell Phone questions

I have sprint/nextel, I just upgraded from an ic902 to a Blackberry Curve. With the ic902 I have never, ever had a dropped call and had a great signal out in the douglasville area. With the Curve I have crap for signal in the same area and drop calls all the time. Even in my house where I had great signal with the ic902 the Curves signal comes and goes. The Curve is also 3G and slow as crap vs an iPhone.

My biggest issue is the signal/dropped calls. Anything I can do about that, at all?

Thread jack...I went to FL and back in one day and I got like 390 out of a tank before the light came on and I filled up.

I guess in the city it kills the gas mileage.

a 3G curve doesnt exist. im sure its slow, being on nextel's network. but anyway. im surprised your BB gets poor signal. BB's are known for getting good reception. probably just sprint/nextel's crappy service.

I told you man, its all in where/how you drive. I average 350-390 a tank going between Conyers, Norcross and Carrollton.

I agree, i didnt see any ignorance because sprint sucks...I also work in the industry (AT&T), they provide me a Blackberry Bold and I have a iPhone as my personal. The bold is great on 3G but, iPhone > all.

if i "lost" a blackberry bold I would get a nokia 2600 replacement. As rep's we get a Blackberry "Company Official Use" phone... the COU line is put on our business card and is the mobile # that customers are given. I keep paying for my iPhone because I have had the phone number forever and want to be able to keep it if i ever leave the company.

The fact that you seem to think that whatever service you work for has the best service.

I also work in the industry, and I can gaurantee you that if sprint, alltel or verizon has coverage where he lives, then he will have service.

One day people will realize that its becoming more and more rare to see coverage area playing a part in what company a customer goes with.

It will come down to phones, customer service and price. And AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile nor alltel can compete with the price plan that Sprint offers.

Verizon and Sprint have the largest, most stable network.

    And iPhone>all?

Not really, the only thing the iPhone has going for it is its ability to be customized.

Soon, more and more phones will be like that. Phones that you can send picture mail on, without having to go and download an application for and phones that can be insured.

You were talking about a curve. Which is a Sprint phone.

not a Nextel. The 8350i is a nextel.

Don't talk about fail, when you have your shit mixed up

Most companies 3G coverage is crap right now. You got better coverage because you were on a much larger 2G network. Your blackberry is preferring 3G which is the reason for the dropped calls and low signal. However, a few months down the road once everything settles and 3G is preferred by most users it will be a much stronger side to be on .

They have new Curves with 3G capability. Tard card. It's called the curve 8900 and it's a sister to the Bold and it owns your face.

lol maybe for you, but not ATT. They're still working on projects to put people on 2g unless they're using data. as well as expanding their 3G network.

yeah its sprint. I'm not sure how well GSM will hold anything over 3g. especially now that they are starting to see the limitations on the 3g capacity.

Well you 2 morons sure do know a whole lot about nothing.

#1 IT IS A 3G CAPABLE PHONE, INTERNATIONALLY It's an international phone which works on any 3G network. Tmobile just happens to be the only company ehre that carries it and they only do 2G.

Clearly there's no fucking 8300 series 3G because 8300 series refers to older phones. HOWEVER THE 8900 CURVE IS STILL A GOD DAMN CURVE AND IT HAS 3G CAPABILITY SHIT DICK. stay gay.

Sprint doesn't carry a 3q curve, but our EVDO is still as fast as AT&T and Verizon's Data
