    A young Nebraska man who stuffed his kitten into a homemade bong faces cruelty charges. He should face more than that, if you ask me.

    The Los Angeles Times carries an Associated Press story about the horrifying kitty bong smoking incident.

    Seems Lancaster County sheriff's deputies who responded to a domestic disturbance call on Sunday alleged they saw 20-year-old Acea Schomaker smoking marijuana through a piece of garden hose attached to a duct-taped, plastic glass box in which the cat had been stuffed.

    "This cat was just dazed," Sgt. Andy Stebbing told AP.

    Schomaker reportedly told deputies 6-month-old kitten was hyper and he was trying to calm her down.

    The contraption little Shadow was stuffed inside was 12 inches by 6 inches. The kitty was timid but in good condition Monday, Capital Humane Society's executive director Bob Downey told AP.

    Schomaker is another story. He was probably also timid when he was released from jail after paying a $400 fine on the arrest warrant. But he faces drug and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

    This should be good. Bet the judge asks him, "Dude, what were you smoking?"

    What do you think his punishment should be?

    not inhumane. marijuana is harmless. unless the cat has any traces of schizophrenia in its gene pool.

    Yeah I remember getting my friends dog high when I was around 12 or so, but now I let them choose to smoke or not, rather than forcing them.

    i got to agree with this.

    first reading it, i hit the floor laughing.
    after i got up and was just giggling, i thought that it was kinda fucked up. i mean, i got my pets blazed out back in the day, but didn't think of stuffing them into a bong.

    that is still kinda funny.
    more of on the guys' part than for the cat.

    japs may not be doing it, but i think the chinese do something like.
