Friday night we have a BMW wrenching party and do a bunch of maintenance on the vert and fix an issue on an e30. Friends stay over for the night and in the morning we head out for a mountain cruise and eat some lunch.
Around 4pm we head home and myself(green vert), Jeremy(RED Porsche) and Nick(bronzit e30) all are heading back to my house. Get off exit and I believe Forsyth county makes ALL their ticket revenue off this street. I know not to speed more than 10 over as they are waiting for you. So we are just staying behind a minivan in the left lane ~55.
Pass cop in the middle(of course) and for the most part he was just sitting there... just when we round the corner he flips it and floors it to get behind Nick. We get into turn lane and miss the light, miss the light the 2nd time(not going to run it hah) and finally turn left. Lights on and he only pulls Nick over. We head back to my house(about 2 minutes away).
Get to hear the story from Nick. He was pulled over "For a cracked windshield and a license plate frame is not legal". Gets asked some questions and in an assuming manner asks what they have in the car. I guess the answer wasn't good enough so Nick is asked to get out of the car, empty pockets and he is searched. His passenger Blake is asked to get out of the car. Same deal. Then they ask to search the car. Nick is a good kid and there is nothing in there. There never has been. Then after being there for 20-30 minutes the officers(now there are THREE CARS for two kids in a 1986 325eS with no records) say "We are sorry, you are free to go. Forsyth is having a drug problem".
Bullshit. Profiling two guys with longer hair in an 'old beater e30' and searched on assumptions.
