we are getting back about $1800... i'm so stoked we didn't have to pay. we had to itemize like bitch to get that back; we were told basically to slow down on the working or have a kid to help us out :eek:

Correct. They can be fined for not providing them.
But, if you have your last paycheck from 2008 and you know how to read it, everything you need is on there. I do my taxes on about 1/15 every year. Sometimes I wait for my W-2 and 1098's but I usually don't.
