Default Contiential Flight 3407 Crashed in Buffalo, NY

Most Details will take a while to be confirmed by the FAA ...

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29173163/

BUFFALO, New York - New York state police said a 50-passenger commuter plane has crashed into a home in suburban Buffalo.

The Buffalo News cited unconfirmed reports of 49 dead in a Continential Airlines flight.

State Trooper John Manthey said the plane hit a house in Clarence around 10:10 p.m. EST Thursday. The house is engulfed in flames.

He says they don't know whether there were any passengers on the plane. They also don't know if there were any injuries in the home.

Manthey says the plane may have been headed to Buffalo Niagara International Airport. He says authorities have called the Federal Aviation Administration.

    Here

A small passenger plane crashed into a home near Buffalo, N.Y., Thursday night.

It was just after 10:20 p.m. when the plane, believed to be heading towards the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, crashed into the home on Long Street in Clarence Centre, a small community just northeast of Buffalo, neighbours said.

Neighbours said the plane - which appeared to be a small propeller plane - came in loudly and lower than normal, before it hit the house with a loud ban.

"This one you knew definitely was very low, and then it was 'boom,' like thunder. Very scary," said a woman, Norma, who lives across from the home the plane hit.

    The Globe and Mail

A woman and her daughter said to be living in the home made it out uninjured and were at a neighbour's house. A man also lived at the house, but it wasn't clear whether he was hurt or not.

Sources said 10 people were hurt, but it wasn't immediately clear if anyone died.

if it was a Dash 8 i bet it encountered icing conditions, those planes arent supposed to be flown into icing conditions due to them having this problem right here.

NOT 100% SURE BUT JUST MY GUESS WITHOUT ANY RESEARCH WHAT SO EVER.
