    Default Watches?

So I finally bit the bullet and bought a decent watch, one that will hopefully last a few decades.

fossil is definitely not the best brand for watches....

you'd have to go with swiss made watches to get the best. other brands lose time... aren't made with great precision... etc...

the best non-swiss would be seiko...

I won't spend over $100 on a watch, because usually in 2-3 years they look outdated. I only wear one maybe once a week anyway.

I'm having a tiny bit of buyer's remorse (but that happens every time I buy something retail and not online). I paid $550 for it but I could get it online for $120 less. But it might be worth it to have a store responsible for the upkeep, somewhere I can go. At least that's what I'm telling myself. :P

i bought my gf this bulova watch for vday. She wears it on an almost daily basis and still looks brand new. Not the most expensive watch but worth the money.

White mother-of-pearl dial. 12 Diamonds. Stainless steel case and bracelet. Screw back. Deployment buckle. Water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet.

I used to have a fossil watch, but I think they lack the things that make a true high-quality watch.. sapphire crystal face, things like that.

Plus I don't see many with truly innovative gadgetry, which is important to me.

I don't have any name brand watches because I normally use my phone, but I do want a nice silver one. I will probably get one for my birthday or christmas. Surprise myself

I have a seiko but only wore it for about 2 years before I said fuck the tan line that the mother leaves. Its been sitting in a jewelry box for 3 years now and It is still ticking...I love Seiko watches because they last a long ass time. I forgot what model, but it was a simple design with stainless steel band and back and I have never replaced the battery. Cost me $600.
