Ok didn't they prove an aircraft with a propeller would?

Does any1 in this thread own a plane-treadmill other than me? NO. Did any1 else in this thread crash their primary plane off the front of it trying this other than me? NO. So until you guys try it like I did then STFU. Here is the video from my attempt:

    Plane on a treadmill poll...

LOL... I don't think so.... It would be suicide. It would be controllable even if you did get any lift....

ok the propeller and the jet both move the airplane through the air. the way a plane takes off is by getting enough speed to move the air over and under the wing at a certain speed. thats how it takes off.

on a prop plane the prop actually creates an undesired effect on the plane when the air hits the tail and pushes it. the air coming off the prop actually swirls as its coming off.

and yes the jet would take off, the wheels on the airplane just freewheel, they dont apply any power what so ever to the ground.

lol well they do roll across the ground, and you do have to stop with your brakes which uses even more tires, but they last for ever.

    Agreed 100%..

Air has to be goin over the wings to get lift off, which comes from the the propeller/jet pushing the aircraft foward... But what I was saying is that a propeller on a aircraft in some app should push enough air over/under the wings to give lift.

For Example a Super Cub... There is a video of a Super cub lifting off the ground and was stationary

Where did the idea of an airplane gets power thur there wheels come from anywayz?

yea one thing they dont say is that they had like a 40 knot headwind that day. and it actually took less than 25 feet to take off. that plus the cub has an extremely low takeoff speed.

I had gathered that. Reading about it and flying with are two different things. Closest thing you'll get to Mil-spec technology for a while.

I think we pick that up from all the Abb. like VFR, ILS, ADF, VOR, GPS, DME, HSI, RMI, D.G., TCAS, and etc, ect...

I'd sway a 2JZ into it, then call the whole kills forum out.

i mean the lil ole plane only has 160 hp and only revs to 2500 rpm.

EDIT: oh wait i forgot about the 2jz part. make that 1000hp but having a gear reduction for the prop. thatll work.

Explaining it, giving examples, and creating a tv show out of it proving it still doesn't make someone understand. Oldstech is an airplane mechanic and
thinks the props blow air over the wings to create lift? *sigh*

I think a visual aid will help to understand what your trying to say much better.

On the other hand, on an ekranoplan, It is the air being directed under the wings from the prop/jet engine that creates lift.
