for the speeder 24MPH over the limit is automatic license suspension for 6 months if its your first time. best way to handle it is to hire a good lawyer. you might be able to get it reduced but be prepared for community service a 150 or so dollar fine and possibly probation. thats the way gwinnett likes to do things. GL with it all

depends on his age whether his license will get suspended. Most likely he can get it reduced in court if he doesnt go in there with this same attitutde. He will get a hefty fine ($250+) and community service.

yeah it really sucks, but I mean, I learned from it. I'm just happy you didn't have to crash but I hope you're able to tone it down on the road a bit. I try and drive as carefully as I can myself and have really gotten into autocross to let off steam, also, ALWAYS leave early(if you can), so you don't have to rush. Good luck man.

Not bashing you at all. I have been in your shoes before and will prob be there again (shit last week i was almost arrested for shooting signs with a slingshot). If you pay the fine and call it a day you WILL have your license suspended for 6 months. If you go to court, even though you are not required to, and talk to the solicitor there is a good chance he can help you reduce the speed a couple MPH (which is all you need). If you just pay the fine, you will go home and recieve a letter several weeks later saying your license is suspended. by this time you will be too late to apply for a hardship license. Good luck to you. Just my 2 cents

you are 18 or 19 correct? 24+MPH over the speed limit(you were 25MPH right?) for an adult under the age of 21 is automatic license suspension for 6 months for your first violation. I am not lying to you, if anything I am just trying to help. I have lost my license twice due to this law. 1st offense you lose it for 6 months 2nd you lose it fo a year. I imagine you are a student as well. It is very hard to do the college thing without a licese. Look it up.

Talk to a solicitor before pleading Nolo. You never know when you will get caught up in something serious and wish you still had the Nolo plea. Talk to a Solicitor and see what kind of deal you can work. If they wont cut you any slack (highly unlikely) then use your Nolo.

the law must of changed, at 2am i got pulled over for going 74 on a 45, i got five tickets

-Not Having License on me
-Minor Curfew(for some reason my cuzin cant be out past 12?)
-License Rules Broken (being out too late) curfew for myself
-Speeding 29 over limit (74)

forgot 5th one, i think it was suspended for being out of school so much, and this was when i was 17 and full license...and nothing happened to me...i was one lucky son of a bittch, cuz all the tickets came up to $745 and when i pleaded NOLO (which i didnt know about) i felt so rich
