i'm pretty sure the sks was made before the ak and it is known to be one of the most reliable guns of the world infact many people like the sks over the ak and others due to it's toughness. i wish i had one but i also like my ak

Just to let you know, a .223 is nothing like a 7.62x39mm. I'll take a picture of my rounds at home if you would like. The .223 has a much smaller diameter.

The top one is the .223 and the center is the AK-47/SKS round.
