    I've been in about 2-3 times a week every week this year. Killed a 6 point a couple weeks back. Probably won't get to go much this week with all the family up.

    ill be in a stand at about 4:30 in the morning tomorrow with my dad if i dont go run dogs with a guy that lives down the road from me and another friend. i went tonight and collected my deer cam and saw alot of good bucks. we will see how it turns out for me the in the morning.

    what are yall shooting with? im using a m44(old ass rifle) with hand loaded rounds for 80-140 yard shots. usually using my remington 30-06.

    Well, I killed the 6 point with my old school Remington 742 30-06 with a Leupold 3x9x40. Most of the time I use my Browning .308 with a Nikon Pro Staff 3x9x50.

    Done been twice... Going again soon but going down to Mt. Vernon next time to my cousins place. Middle of nowhere and plenty of deer. Also a Remington 30-06 is my gun of choice.

    Been in the woods a good bit, I've got 5 so far this year. Using 30.06, Marlin 30-30, and my FAV Mini 14 ( semi auto 30 round clip ). I use open sights on the 30 ought, and 30-30, and I forgot what I have on the Mini...

    I was soo f'in cold the other day, I bout fell out of my stand trying to climb down....UGHHH

    Just got back from Wyoming for white tail and took a 128 class 8 point. 20'' inside. Pennsylvania's first day is this monday! I've been watching 2 for a couple of years and one of their numbers is up this season.

    got a small buck this morning. Got him with a .35 Marlin. He would've been a 6 pt, but his left horn was broken off. I had been sitting in the leaves for a few hours and got up to get my uncle and head back to the truck; on the dirt road back to the truck, we saw at least 4 does, but couldn't get a shot. I went after one of the groups of does and ended up finding the buck. Should have some jerky in a week or two

    They have a word for a 41 point buck... Elk lol. Thats a huge fucking deer. Biggest I've seen was an 18 my buddies dad killed in Colorado.

    Looks like everyone did better than me today. Billy what kind of Hoyt do you have? I have like an 05 model XTEC with a few little things, never really got into bow hunting though.
