    Default DnB dancing...new craze?

Drum and Bass dancing. it's probably been around a while. anyone here do it?

I personally think it looks retarded.

    some videos for reference:

edit: guess it has been around for quite a bit since there's videos of the songs being mixed back in the early 90's

    it's like emo. it's just a phase.

emo is finally not the cool thing anymore... a lot of kids are drifting away from it.

if they'd mix it up i think it'd be pretty cool.

basically what i saw was the same footwork being repeated.

So one video and you just assume that's how the whole scene is?

I wonder how different these videos would look if they weren't all taken from the ground. I can imagine this looks pretty ridiculous at eye level.

LOL at you guys saying "emo is ending." I suppose I'm in the hardcore/metal scene, but you couldn't tell if you met me. I went to visit my high school the other day and it is now officially a bunch of scene faggots running around with girl pants on. That shit is here to stay.

you don't have to dress or act like idiots to enjoy the music. i listen to screamo, metal, hard core, techno, rap, and i just look like a normal asian.

but yea the scene thing is still big.

I was thoroughly into the DnB scene since around 98/99 through early 2004 and this is the first time that I have ever seen this. Guess if its in ATL parties now that it has been infused in the years since I left. It actually remind me a lot of what used to be referred to as tech-step with a lot of liquid feet stall points; however, this definitely has way more jump/pop to it. I know that a lot of people are knocking it, and seeing it all by itself I understand why. But if these kids began to incorporate their upper bodies into it or mixed it in a top-rock routine it could really look pretty good. I know that I saw several points in their steps that would be great for either starting their bottom-rock or going into different stalls. I guess it just depends upon the perception one takes when viewing the videos: what is actually there or what is there plus what can be done with it. I guess what I am trying to say is that this has potential in my eyes. Of course many of you probably would laugh at the thought of line dancing being thrown into a pop n lock routine, and I would have also before I witnessed a 6'3" 250 lb black dude completely destroy the dance floor at LTJ Bukem with it back in 2003.

    Its slow... I promise
