    Default LSU vs Alabama...So close. What will Alabama do next?

    Even when our team is lacking we put up a fight! LSU lost in overtime to No.1 in the nation buy every single poll... to Crimson Tide Alabama!! This included a blocked Alabama field go (21-21) in the last 3 seconds of the game on the 24 yard (I think) line!! Needless to say one of the best games I have ever seen in my life with crazy plays and surreal outcomes. It all went to shit when Freshman 1/4 back Jarred Lee threw an interception (typical of this noob) when LSU was so close (within 20yrs??) of victory in over time to the number one Alabama in the end zone. They then ran for victory by a hair.
    Great game Alabama! Can't wait to see you play those Gators or Texas for the National title!!!!!!!!

    That's what I'd love to discuss.......Will they or will they not??? 9 out of 10 teams number one at this point made it to the national championship games in the last, what, 15 years? ...

    I originally though Florida was overrated, however there defeat of UGA showed something about there team.
    Alabama, I believe, will not make it the national championship. John Parker Wilson just can't take the team into profound victory. However, they are the only undefeated team in the runnings if i'm not mistaken....
    Texas lost to Texas tech (an amazing game), are they overrated or can they win it? Have they have had one to many "close calls"
    Texas tech i.m.o has some great players but are they just lucky??? How will they do against a team with a solid defense that can block a passing game?

    That game made me pretty optimistic for when Florida plays Alabama. They are definitely beatable. I think my Gators should put them to rest in the SEC championship game.

    the alabama/lsu game was great. i feel it was better than texas/texas tech last week.
    i just do not think that bama can beat florida in the SEC championship game.
    with out a doubt, florida is the best team in the nation. and there is not big 10, big 12 or pac 10 team that can stop them.

    The thing about teams outside of the SEC is defense. All of the top teams in other divisions let so many points get put up on them, Florida will run the scoreboard against a big 12 or pac10 team imo. That coupled with a real SEC defense means either Florida or Bama is going to take it all this year.

    Yeah I'm doubting that they could. If they can stop a passing game then it will be damn good. Any thoughts about texas? they seem pretty unstoppable in exception for texas tech that just got by them

    I'm not going to say that UF and Bama aren't both national championship material, but there's no way they're both going to play in it. If Bama wins the SEC championship, Bama is going to the title game. If Florida wins, UF MIGHT go the title game. But they're not both going anyway it pans out.

    I think (hope) it's going to be either Bama or Florida vs. Texas or Texas Tech in the NC game.
