    What percentage of "white" presidents have fucked up? ...Not 100%, which will be the case for "blacks" if Obama fucks up. Although, I think that even if he fucks up, there WILL be another black president somewhere down the line. ...Just saying that his statement may not be what ends up happening, but that doesn't make it a logical fallacy.

    i'm not saying that is fair. i'm saying that that is a very possible situation if he fails as miserably as bush. it's one thing for a bush to do this, but just think of the ramifications of Obama doing the same or, god forbid, this situation gets worse. so Obama is on a hot bed right now, he is technically the first of his kind to be president (i say kind because he is a medley... no racism intended) and so people are going to go on first impressions from this presidency AND put a lot of labels on him. so if he doesn't do well there will be lots of people that will assume that anyone besides an older white guy will fuck everything up or impose no change.

    I agree. His head is on the chopping block since the day he was nominated to run. The cycle has been broken and the abnormal will be tested. This will not be an easy task for him. I sense resistance abroad.

    His job started yesterday. Let's support the person who is in charge of the country

    All I have to say is THANK IMAGINARY JESUS that dems did not gain control of congress. Obama, even though I disagree with him, is an intelligent man. He isn't as liberal as he portrays, but with our current situation he had to act like that. He doesn't scare me, it's Pelosi, Frank, and Reed getting blank checks that does. Fortunately that will not be the case.
